Doctor Atoosa Kourosh, MD, MPH, RYT, is board-certified as an allergy & immunology specialist, a pediatrician, and a patient advocate. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed her residency and fellowship training at the Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She earned her patient advocacy certification from the Patient Advocate Certification Board and her master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Doctor Atoosa worked as a pediatrician for over a decade before deciding to concentrate deeply on integrative allergy & immunology care and treatment. Knowledgeable about holistic health, she combines cutting-edge mainstream treatment modalities with the best functional- and integrative practices to treat the whole person in their environment.

Doctor Atoosa has provided medical care in a variety of settings all over the globe, from rural clinics to urban hospitals, and is trained in disaster relief- and wilderness medicine. Her extensive travel and experience practicing medicine in a range of environments led to her passion for global public health, social justice, and health equity and access. Her high-level understanding of the complexity of health care systems, together with her medical knowledge and considerable experience navigating patient care, make her a powerful physician health advocate for individuals navigating difficult medical issues, especially where systemic injustices are impacting care.
